Hello all! I haven't been blogging much lately because I'm moving! What fun it shall be living with three guys - boyfriend, brother, brother's bestie. Ohh my!
I've been thrifting/garage sale-ing a lot to fill my new house with furniture, but I haven't picked up much Pyrex lately. How sad. I did find this b-e-a-utiful HUGE casserole dish today - but $22? No thank you. But, oh, how sweet it is. I want a piece this size - it would be great for big family dinners!
Now back to unpacking - hope everyone else is having more Pyrex luck than I! :)
Good for you for not giving into the ridiculously high priced casserole. I'm sure it was hard to walk away but your patience will pay off. I actually bought that same casserole at Goodwill a few months ago and it is awesome. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks! I refuse to pay more than $10 for pretty much any Pyrex piece, I just know I can find it at a more affordable price somewhere! I hope I find this one at a decent price somewhere though - it really is fantastic! Jealous of your find :)
DeleteI picked up that piece at the DAV today only in Butterfly Gold. I've been wanting one for quite a while to make lasagna in, but I refused to give the high prices for them. While I would have preferred the blue snowflake like you discovered, for $4.95, I am perfectly happy with Butterfly Gold!
